8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ([c]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] Ephesians 2:8-9 amp.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV
19 And my God will liberally supply ([i]fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19 amp.
The saying: "The best things in life are free" is a saying I believe. Some don't. Some say nothing comes for free; there is always a catch. But what about finding a four leaf clover at a park or a yard. (I'm about to sound like a commercial) The price is zero dollars. And seeing the smile on the fathers and children's faces when his children hand that four leaf clover to him, who happens to like them very much, on fathers day, well, that is priceless. If children can find such a way to give such a good gift to their father how much more can our Creator give to us? He doesn't just give us the four leaf clover or the sun and rain, but eternal life, peace and grace. Just as seed time and harvest will continue 'till the end of the earth so God's promises are true for us yesterday, today and forever.
